Upgrade of W.R. Berkley Companies by A.M. Best to "A+ (Superior)"

In a press release issued August 21, 2007, by A.M. Best, it was announced that several W.R. Berkley companies have been upgraded to a Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of "A+ (Superior)" from "A (Excellent)." This upgrade applies to all of the company charters currently used by Union Standard Insurance Group, including Acadia Insurance Company, Continental Western Insurance Company, Union Insurance Company and Union Standard Lloyds, in addition to other Berkley companies.
